The only issue is that you have to get a suitable size pot and pan.

Easy to wipe off spills while your cooking. I'm loving the temperature control. The top only gets hot from the pan. After heating water in my kettle, turned it off, remove from cooktop and was able to touch the stove it was hot from the kettle not the heating elements. So cool and safe with my special needs son.

So far this item is great. We wanted to try out an induction cooktop to see if we liked it.
1. Lots of power and boils water quickly.
2. Controls were a little confusing at first but after you actually use it, they were fine.
3. Had to get an electrician if your electrical controls were outdated.
4. It seems to turn the heat on and off frequently causing a quick boil and then nothing instead of a constant simmer. But it still works and for the price Im still very happy with it.

Great product that works very well. Easy to operate.

The cooktop is sleek and very state of the art. The price is excellent! I expected to have to pay twice as much.

this this comes up to heat really fast cooks evenly

We got this to replace an ugly old gas cooktop. Had to look up the Lock/Unlock directions, but yes, it's supposed to be safer that way. Afterward, just 'playing with' the controls had us cooking in very short order. (No Needs for a special cleaner, the old countertop cleaner leaves a haze.) It's a simple upgrade for our house!
